摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide low viscousity molasses which have a low viscosity, can easily be handled, and can stably culture a useful microorganism group. SOLUTION: This low viscous molasses for culturing the useful microorganism group are prepared by mixing a solution containing 10 to 70 wt. % of saccharides in a solvent with molasses containing 30 to 60 wt. % of saccharides in a saccharide-containing solution:molasses volume ratio of 1:19 to 7:3. The solvent is preferably seawater subjected to a sterilization treatment and a treatment using a ceramic baked with useful microorganism group or an aqueous solution containing 0.5 to 1.0 wt. % of natural salt.
