摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a catalyst which gives an alkylene carbonate from an alkylene oxide and carbon dioxide in a high yield and in high selectivity even in a small amount and even under a low pressure condition without needing the addition of a reaction accelerator, or the like, and to provide a method for profitably producing the alkylene carbonate in the presence of the catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: This method for reacting the alkylene oxide with the carbon dioxide to produce the alkylene carbonate is characterized by using a substitution type heterogeneous polyacid salt as the catalyst. The substitution type heterogeneous polyacid salt contains the deficiency of a part of atoms or polyatoms for substituting a part of polyatoms with a heterogeneous polyanion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
