<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a separator material composed of a graphite/resin-cured molded body in which material strength is high and electric resistance is low, which is superior in gas impermeability and suitable as the separator material of a solid polymer fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: Against graphite powder 100 pts. wt which is adjusted in a particle size property in which an average particle diameter is 70 μm or less, the maximum particle diameter is 300 μm or less, and the ratio of the particle whose the particle diameter is 10 μm or less is 20 wt% or less by applying smoothing treatment to the particle surface by mechanical grinding, a thermosetting resin is kneaded so that a resin solid content becomes a ratio of 15-26 pts. wt, and a kneaded material obtained by removing a solvent by drying is made molding powder by cracking, and the molded powder is filled up in a die and hot-press molded by pressures of 20-50 MPa and temperatures of 150-250°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
