<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tracking method of a metal band welding point capable of improving tracking precision in a process line using a lateral type looper. <P>SOLUTION: In this tracking method of the metal band welding point, a welding point of a metal band 3 passing the process line formed by connecting a plurality of zones in series is tracked based on zone length and line speed of each zone.
