<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a divergence method for an automated vehicle that can make a divergence from a first guidepath wire 6a to a second guidepath wire 6b with a low-cost and simple controller. <P>SOLUTION: A divergence selection switch 18 mounted on an automated vehicle and a first magnet 21a buried in a passage determine whether or not to make a divergence from the first guidepath wire 6a to the second guidepath wire 6b. When diverged from the first guidepath wire 6a to the second guidepath wire 6b, the automated vehicle travels straight until detecting a second magnet 21b as ignoring the first guidepath wire 6a, and then travels along the second guidepath wire 6b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
