PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a large amount of fuel injection caused by injection requirements outputted a plurality of times in a fuel injection control device. SOLUTION: In the case that a crank position to output the injection requirement to a cylinder A is computed as 12 in certain calculating timing, the injection requirement is outputted in timing T1, and after that, even though the injection requirement in timing T4 is calculated, the output is prohibited. A prohibiting period can be set up to an optional period such as a period until the next output (T2) of an injection requirement to a cylinder B. Also, an excessive fuel injection amount can be prevented by stopping fuel injection when detecting that injection duration exceeds predetermined duration. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
