<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unify an in-plane temperature distribution of a reformer. <P>SOLUTION: The reformer 3 comprises carrying a catalyst on honeycomb carriers 21a, 22a having a lot of cells 21b, 22b allowing a row fuel gas to flow.
