<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery part of jelly roll type and a winding method of this, and a lithium secondary battery having the same. <P>SOLUTION: The battery part of jelly roll type comprises a first electrode plate made of a first electrode collector formed with a first electrode tab and a first electrode active material layer coated on at least one face of the first electrode collector, a second electrode plate made of a second electrode collector formed with a second electrode tab and a second electrode active material layer coated on at least one face of the second electrode collector, and a separator interposed between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate, and in at least one electrode plate out of these electrode plates, the electrode tab is formed integrally of the electrode collector in the region which is not coated with the electrode active material layer. By this, the electrode tab is formed by partially cutting the electrode collector and folding this, thereby deformation of the battery part of the jelly roll type can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
