<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture a secondary battery having a simple structure, high reliability and a high electric capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an electrochemical element comprises steps of disposing conductive layers on both surfaces of a sheet-like insulating base material based on a prescribed pattern to obtain a first and a second collectors; forming a plurality of first and second electrode mixture layers 22a, 22b on the conductive layers, respectively, by leaving an interval each in response to the pattern; laminating the first and the second electrode groups via separators to obtain a laminate; and obtaining a plurality of laminated electrode plate groups by cutting the laminate at the intervals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
