<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To request authentication by a charging device to be managed, in printing management information, and to count charges in the management information of a target charging authentication device even when the printing of management information is permitted by two or more authentication devices. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus having a plurality of user authentication means for limiting a user comprises an authentication selection means for selecting a user authentication means to be used from the plurality of user authentication means, a charge counting means for counting charges in each user authentication means, a charge counting value management means for managing charge counting data, and a printing means for printing out the list of charge counting data.
