<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new carrier for immobilizing a nucleic acid for preparing a carrier for immobilizing the nucleic acid with high sensitivity, the carrier immobilizing the nucleic acid, a method for producing the carrier immobilizing the nucleic acid, a method for detecting the nucleic acid using the carrier immobilizing the nucleic acid and a method for washing the carrier immobilizing the nucleic acid in order to detect the nucleic acid. <P>SOLUTION: The new carrier for immobilizing the nucleic acid for preparing the carrier for immobilizing the nucleic acid with the high sensitivity is provided. The carrier immobilizes the nucleic acid. The method for producing the carrier immobilizing the nucleic acid is provided. The method for detecting the nucleic acid uses the carrier immobilizing the nucleic acid.
