<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a correction fault by correcting a defective part of a colored layer of a color filter by deposition of a correction ink which has been adequately made to match with the film thickness of the colored layer having no defective part. <P>SOLUTION: The defective part of the colored layer of the color filter is irradiated with a laser beam L by a laser beam machine 7 to remove the machining area of the colored layer inclusive of the defective part and thereafter the correction ink f is dropped to the machining area by an ink jet from an ink jet head 21 and the dropped correction ink is cured by heating to deposit the film. In such a case, based on the predetermined reference data on the amount of dropping of the correction ink by the ink jet, the area of dropping region of the correction ink f and the film thickness after the deposition of the correction ink dropped to the dropping region, a control computer (controller) 9 controls an ink jet system 8 by finding the amount of dropping the correction ink to the machining area from the set film thickness of the colored layer having the defective part and the area of the machining area of the colored layer to be removed by the irradiation with the laser beam L. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
