PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable solid electrolytic capacitor capable of increasing a breakdown voltage and prominent in lowering an impedance as well as an ESR and in the elongation of a life. SOLUTION: The solid electrolytic capacitor is constituted of an anode having a dielectric oxide film layer 12 on the surface of a valve metal, a cathode arranged so as to be opposed to the anode, and a solid state polymeric electrolytic layer 16 as well as an electronic conductive electrolytic layer 17 provided between the anode and the cathode and in which an ion conductive electrolyte is incorporated into the matrix of acrylic ester copolymer. Consequently, the solid state electrolytic capacitor stabilized in long time characteristics even at a high temperature can be provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
