PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate circuit design, and to eliminate unwanted radiation due to residual pilot signals. SOLUTION: A coupler 108 detects the distortion component of an amplification signal amplified in a main amplifier 104. A distortion eliminating loop control unit 116 applies quadrature detection to the residual distortion component remaining after eliminating the distortion component from the amplification signal and the distortion component detected in the coupler 108, to detect a voltage value of the I component and a voltage value of the Q component. A comparison circuit 120 obtains an amplitude error between the distortion component and the residual distortion component from the voltage value of the I component, and obtains a phase error between the distortion component and the residual distortion component from the voltage value of the Q component. A control unit 121 controls a vector adjustor 111 to eliminate the amplitude error and the phase error.
