PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens driving device which switches photographing positions and prevents the wear of mechanism portions, a change with lapse of time, etc., while permitting the miniaturization, simplification, etc., of its structure. SOLUTION: The lens driving device is equipped with a lens frame 30, a guide shaft 40 for guiding the lens frame 30 in an optical axis direction, stationary frames 10 and 20 and a switching mechanism for switching the photographing position by moving the lens frame 30 to the optical axis direction. An adjusting shaft 50 which is supported at the stationary frames rotationally movably around the axis S perpendicular to the optical axis direction, an abutting surface 34a which is formed at the lens frame 30 and abuts on a cam section 53, and a spring 60 which energizes the surface 34a toward the cam section 53 are employed as the switching mechanism. As a result, the photographing position can be selectively switched simply by rotating the adjusting shaft 50 and the working range in gripping a handle 52 and rotating the same is made smaller, the device can be made smaller in size, and the wear, the change with lapse of time, etc., can be prevented.
