PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a main body of a working device accessible to the inside of a jet pump and the bottom of a reactor without mounting a guide mechanism on the jet pump. SOLUTION: In the device for work in a reactor which carries out the removal of contaminants, inspections, repair or maintenance by inserting the main body 1 of the working device hung down from above the reactor into the jet pump that is placed in a reactor pressure vessel to circulate reactor water, a guide rod 5 is placed at the lowest end of the main body 1 of the working device with the deviation of a prescribed angle to the vertical axis and the guide rod 5 makes it possible to insert the main body 1 of the working device into the jet pump from an opening between an inlet mixer and a nozzle of the jet pump.
