PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber-modified styrene-based resin composition which has excellent transparency and impact resistance and remarkably controlled deterioration in hue and transparency by heat history after molding. SOLUTION: The rubber-modified styrene-based resin composition comprises (A) a styrene-(meth)acrylic acid ester-based copolymer composed of a styrene-based monomer, a (meth)acrylic acid ester-based monomer and a vinyl-based monomer copolymerizable with these monomers and (B) a graft copolymer composed of a diene-based rubber-like elastic body, a styrene-based monomer, a (meth)acrylic acid ester-based monomer and a vinyl monomer copolymerizable with these monomers as main components. The rubber-modified styrene-based resin composition has the mass ratio of the MEK-soluble component to the MEK-insoluble component of the rubber-modified styrene-based resin composition of 95/5-40/60 and contains 0.1-0.5 mass % of 9, 10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide as a phosphorus-based compound.
