PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel for a tire and an assembly with a pneumatic tire using the wheel that can improve the tire durability without adding a substantial change in the structure of the tire or the wheel itself. SOLUTION: In this wheel 1 for a tire, on the surface of a rim 2 at a portion where at least a bead portion of a tire is in touch therewith, a paint 13 including fine particles made from a material having thermal conductivity larger than that of a material composing the rim 2 is applied or a sheet made from a material having thermal conductivity larger than the material of the rim 2, or a cloth made of a carbon fiber or a short fiber is laminated thereon.
