PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting holder for a chase mold numbering instrument which can significantly save time/labor for an operation to correct an adhesion failure aboard a printing machine by indirectly fit/fix each numbering instrument B to a dovetail bar part 11 instead of directly fitting/fixing the instrument B. SOLUTION: In the mounting holder for a chase mold numbering instrument which is fixedly arranged in a chase mounted on the surface of a reciprocating plate platen, a pair of mutually opposed side plates 1 and 2 into which the chase-type numbering instrument B are inserted one by one from above; a pair of other side plates 3 and 4 opposed to each other in an orthogonal direction to the paired side plates 1 and 2; a threaded hole 8 opened on either or both of the paired side plates 1 and 2; a dovetail groove part 5 into which the dovetail bar part 11 is slidably inserted on one side plate 3 of the other side plates 3 and 4; and rectangular frames A, for inserting the numbering instrument B, each with a space part 4a, for inserting a number wheel ratchet click actuating rod, provided on the other side plate 4. The dovetail bar part 11 is fixedly fitted to both mutually opposed end frame parts of the chase by inserting the dovetail bar part 11 into the dovetail groove part 5 of each rectangular frame A.
