PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power rotary tool for reducing noise by the sound insulating effect and eliminating a flow getting in a fan chamber from an air window. SOLUTION: This power rotary tool has a cooling fan 3 arranged in a housing 10 so as to be rotatable in both the forward-reverse directions by a rotational driving source such as a motor, and has the housing having the air window 21 for exhausting a cooling air in forward rotation, and the air window 22 for exhausting the cooling air in reverse rotation, and is characterized by arranging a closing member 20 for closing one air window in response to the rotational direction of the cooling fan.
