PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matrix-shaped variable micro-passage, and a system using this passage capable of forming the micro-passage in an optional position on a substrate. SOLUTION: A plurality of stimulation sensitive members 3 are arranged in a two-dimensional matrix shape on the glass substrate 2. This system has the matrix-shaped variable micro-passage 21 for arranging the plurality of stimulation sensitive members 3 in a two-dimensional matrix shape on the glass substrate 2, a detecting means 22 for detecting a substance on the glass substrate 2, a stimulation imparting means 23 for imparting stimulation to the stimulation sensitive members 3, and a control means 24 for controlling the stimulation imparting means 23 on the basis of a signal from the detecting means 22.
