摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide welding equipment capable of welding a nozzle stub to a housing in a local dry system even when water is present in a pressure vessel of a reactor in a nuclear power station in operation. SOLUTION: A nozzle stub 1 is separated from water in a pressure vessel of a reactor by a seal pipe 3, a cylindrical control rod driving mechanism housing 2 having an annular inner projection 2a on one end part is inserted in the nozzle stub, and the welding equipment welds an upper end part of the nozzle stub to an outer circumferential surface of the control rod driving mechanism housing. The welding equipment comprises a transfer base part 11 which can be inserted in or drawn out of an upper end of the seal pipe, and has a pair of fitting plates which are separated in the axial direction of the seal pipe and integrally fixed, a clamp mechanism 23 which is fitted to a lower side part of the lower fitting plate in the axial direction of the transfer base part via a rotating mechanism, and clamps the inner projection of the control rod driving mechanism in the axial direction, a welding torch fitting base 12 which is fitted between the fitting plates of the transfer base part movably in the axial direction, and driven in the axial direction by an axially driving mechanism, and a welding torch part 34 fitted to the welding torch fitting base 12 via a radially moving mechanism.
