<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of articles to transactors, consumers and the like by disclosing article information in a useful way. <P>SOLUTION: An article attribute providing server has a means for recording the attribute information of the same article in a processed article DB from information acquirers' standpoints on processed articles and for recording the attribute information of the article in a raw material DB from the information acquirers' standpoints on raw materials. The server further has a means for searching the processed article DB or the raw material DB for the attribute information of either a predetermined processed article or raw materials according to input search requirements, and for providing this information to terminals.
