<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio controlled watch case, in which a radio wave can be received without any difficulty even when the metal watch case is used, and in which the waterproofing quality and the outer appearance quality can be improved and the design variation can be extended. <P>SOLUTION: A body 30 and a back cover 33 of the watch case are made of a nonmagnetic member whose electric resistivity is set at 7.0 μΩ-cm or less, or one of them is made of the nonmagnetic member, for which the surface finishing is performed. Because the disturbance in the resonance phenomenon near an antenna due to the metal material can be reduced when the body 30 and the back cover 33 are made of the nonmagnetic material, sufficient receiving sensitivity can be obtained, even in the metal watch case. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
