<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardware module connection device transmitting signals transmitted by hardware modules being a transmission origin to hardware modules at a transmission destination to verify, at the earlier stage of design development processes for a semiconductor circuit, the appropriateness of specifications requested as the function of the semiconductor circuit consisting of the plurality of hardware modules and an expected algorithm as well as design property. <P>SOLUTION: The hardware module connection device comprises port interface sections, a terminal section, and an OR circuit section. A signal abstracted as transaction having no communication protocol is used for communications between the hardware modules and the port interface sections. Tokens transporting the transaction are provided with information indicating communication condition. An event number is used for the purpose of detecting the transmission and arrival of the transaction and the tokens.
