<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow accurate feeding by suppressing unevenness in speed with a low-cost structure, and obtain high quality images with a low-cost structure by performing auxiliary scanning while suppressing unevenness in auxiliary scanning speed in the case of using a linear motor in a drive system. <P>SOLUTION: The feeding device 1 has a linear motor 21 as a driving source to feed a fed member 10, a belt member 50 connected to the fed member 10 fed by the linear motor and moving with the fed member 10, rotary encoder 25 for measuring the moving distance of the fed member 10 by receiving the movement of the fed member 10 through the belt member 50 and rotating, a control means for controlling the linear motor 21 by feeding back the measurement result of the rotary encoder 25, and a damper mechanism 60 for varying the damper force to the belt member in accordance with the weight of the fed member 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
