METHOD OF RECORDING DATA ONTO OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for recording data onto an optical recording medium.

SOLUTION: In the method of recording data in an optical recording medium, a mark or a space is formed by using a recording waveform having an erasure pattern containing a multipulse. Thus, the shape distortion of the mark is suppressed, and the shape of the mark can be simultaneously improved to enhance recording/reproducing characteristics.
