<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for reducing noise in a tracking error signal or the like in an optical disk device. <P>SOLUTION: A noise filter 1 using ferrite is provided between a monitor diode 2 for monitoring strength of laser light emitted from a laser diode 6 and a circuit for processing an output signal of the monitor diode 2.
