<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a new sealed container capable of maintaining high air-tightness inside the container by preventing the outside air from being sucked into the container, even when the pressure in the container is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: This sealed container comprises a container body 11, a lid part 15 for closing the mouth part 12 of the container body 11, an annular packing 20 fitted to the lid part so as to interpose between the lid part and the mouth top part 13 of the container body, and a locking metal tool 30 for closing the container body with the lid part. The sealed container has a slit part 25 arranged over the overall circumference at a substantially center in the packing thickness direction in the outer peripheral part 21 of the packing toward the inner peripheral part 22 direction.
