AREA DESIGNATION AUTHORITY GIVING SYSTEM AND METHOD USING LOCATION INFORMATION OF MOBILE TERMINAL, AS WELL AS AREA MANAGEMENT SERVER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an area designation authority giving system using location information of mobile terminal for conducting a prize competition for a user, who is in an area and subscribes for an area designated prize contest, based on location information from a mobile terminal of the user.

SOLUTION: An area management server 1 is connected to the Internet 2. A company terminal 5 for implementing the area designated prize contest can be connected to the Internet 2. A user terminal 4 is a mobile terminal capable of being connected to the Internet 2 through a cellular phone switched network 3, and comprises a function for identifying its position based on positioning information from a GPS satellite 6. The user terminal accesses to the area management server to subscribe for the area designated prize contest presented on a home page. The user terminal identifies its position by the position identifying function to transmit its current position information to the area management server. The area management server conducts a lottery of the area designated competition contest for the user terminals in an area established beforehand.
