PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burst signal detecting circuit capable of detecting a burst signal without fail irrespective of existence of an offset in the output of an A/D converter of a base band IQ signal. SOLUTION: The burst signal detecting circuit is equipped with a counter for counting the number of received times of a received output signal; a level judging means for comparing a received output signal level output by an amplifier with the adjustable level of an automatic gain regulator; a burst rising edge detecting means for detecting the rising edge of the burst signal by judging duration of the received output signal, when the level judging means has detected the received output signal of a level that is out of the range of an adjustable level in the automatic gain regulator; and a burst falling edge detecting means for detecting the falling edge of the burst signal when the level judging means has detected the received output signal of a level within the range of the adjustable level in the automatic gain regulator, and when a counter for performing a progressive step every prescribed sampling period exceeds a predetermined threshold value.
