PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety information transmission system capable of making assurance of rescue double sure by tracing movement of a safety confirmation object person. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal 10 of a safety confirmation object person transmits current position information to a disaster / affair information processing apparatus 20 in real time. The disaster / affair information processing apparatus registers the received current position information to a safety confirmation object person database. Further, the disaster / affair information processing apparatus registers position information of a caused disaster / affair and its affect information to a disaster / affair position database and extracts a concerned safety confirmation object person from the safety confirmation object person database. Then the disaster / affair information processing apparatus automatically transmits electronic mail to the mobile terminal of the extracted safety confirmation object person, the electronic mail including a message of the fact of occurrence of a disaster and of instructing the mobile terminal to make contact of safety information of the safety confirmation object person to the processing apparatus, and contents of an HP address to be accessed. When receiving the safety information from the mobile terminal, the disaster / affair information processing apparatus registers a result of information transmission on the basis thereof to an information transmission result database.
