SLIDING STRUCTURE AND SLIDING PORTABLE TELEPHONE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight sliding structure and a sliding portable telephone in which a guide groove and a guide member are prevented from wearing by preventing the casing from twisting during use, and slidability is ensured by preventing occurrence of shaking while keeping the manufacturing cost at a low level. SOLUTION: The operating section 2 of the sliding portable telephone 1 having a guide groove 3 in the side face is the body of the sliding structure wherein the casing is composed of a magnesium alloy including the guide groove 3 and the surface is subjected to anodization. The display section 5 having a guide member 4 sliding while being fitted in the guide groove 3 is the sliding section in the sliding structure. The casing has Vickers surface hardness of 100 HV or above at the operating section 2 because of an anodized coating and it is further coated with paint containing a slip agent (fine powder of polytetrafluoroethylene). The guide member 4 comprises sliding grade of polyacetal and since dynamic coefficient of friction is as low as 0.2μd or less, excellent smoothness and slidability can be attained.
