PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking/unlocking device for a cabinet door capable of detecting baggage put in the cabinet without contact and unlocking the lock of the cabinet. SOLUTION: Articles with IC tags are contained in a plurality of cabinets 1, 2, 3 provided with electronic locks 5a-5f and indication lamps 6a-6f. When a specified article is detected from the cabinets 1, 2, 3, according to the designation of article information from a personal computer 10, when the article information coincides with the article information of the IC tag read out by a tag reader R, the electronic lock of the opening/closing doors D1, D2 of the cabinets in which the article is contained is unlocked. In this way, even if the article is returned into any cabinet. the article can be again detected. By lighting the indication lamp of the corresponding cabinet, it can be recognized visually.
