PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a false twist yarn which is composed of a polyester composition having excellent color tone and heat resistance and containing a new polyester polymerization catalyst, is stably produced without causing fluff and breakage, causes a few halted weaving machines and knitting machines in a weaving process and a knitting process and has stable qualities. SOLUTION: The polyester false twist yarn comprises a polyester composition which is composed of a polyester produced by using a titanium compound (except titanium dioxide particles) and contains no antimony compound or contains≤30 ppm of an antimony compound calculated as antimony atom based on the polyester.
