摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously attain the improvement of corrosion resistance and the maintenance of workability/low temperature toughness in an exhaust gas passage downstream member. SOLUTION: The engine exhaust gas passage downstream member consists of a ferritic steel sheet stock having a composition comprising, by mass,≤0.02% C,≤1.0% Si,≤1.0% Mn, 0.10 to 0.80% Ni, 9.0 to 15.0% Cr, 0.05 to 0.40% Ti, 0.10 to 0.80% Cu, 0 (no addition) to 0.10% Al, 0 (no addition) to 0.30% Mo, 0 (no addition) to 0.02% Nb,≤0.02% N, and 0 (no addition) to 0.01% B, and satisfying all inequalities of Ti≥8(C+N), Cr+5(Ni+Cu)≥12, and Cr-3(Ni+Cu)≤13, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. Particularly, the member in which one side is exposed to exhaust gas, and the opposite face is exposed to the open air such as a center pipe, a tail pipe and a muffler is provided.
