<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution system for realizing an efficient and highly reliable communication system about content data to which no order information of data is given. <P>SOLUTION: The content distribution system consisting of a content broadcasting device 2 which broadcasts the broadcasting contents according to the time of a prescribed broadcast program, a content difference transmitter 3 which transmits difference contents and a content receiver 1 which complements unreceivable portion of the broadcast contents by reception of the difference contents is provided. Here, the content receiver 1 has a means for transmitting a differential content transmission request including communication interruption time to the content difference transmitter 3.
