<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find out from nature a substance exhibiting an anti-oxidizing action through an active oxygen-eliminating action, a radical-eliminating action, a catalase synthesis-promoting action, and the like, a substance exhibiting an anti-inflammatory action through a nitrogen monoxide production-inhibiting action, a tumor necrotizing factor-inhibiting action, a blood platelet aggregation-inhibiting action, and the like, and a lipolysis-promoting action-having substance from natural products, and to obtain an anti-oxidizing agent, an anti-inflammatory agent, and a lipolysis-promoting agent containing the substances as active ingredients, respectively. <P>SOLUTION: The anti-oxidizing agent, the anti-inflammatory agent, and the lipolysis-promoting agent contain an extract extracted from a plant belonging to the genus Ipomoea. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
