<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle specialized in improving efficiency in fuel consumption in an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: An area which uses the output of the internal combustion engine is limited to only an area in which the fuel efficiency is extremely good. As a result, an electric driving time is increased, so that a load of a battery increases. Therefore, a charging capacity of the battery is enhanced. Measures against the problem are followings: [1] a noncontact charger (13) is utilized; [2] a transmission (52) for improving a torque characteristic of a motor-generator is provided to increase a charging current by regenerative braking; and [3] another generator (12) is mounted to increase the charging current by regenerative braking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
