PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum cable for an automobile with high flexibility and elasticity. SOLUTION: The aluminum cable for an automobile formed by covering an aluminum strand with an insulating layer has a gap between the aluminum strand and the insulating layer. A linear body 6 is interposed between the aluminum strand 2 and the insulating layer 3, and the gap 4 is interposed in an opening state between the aluminum strand 2 and the insulating layer 3. A projecting part is continuously installed on the inside of the insulating layer in the length direction of the aluminum stand.
