PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a seal quality of a waterproofing layer rising part stretched from a floor face onto a wall face in low cost and efficiently. SOLUTION: The protection structure is provided with a protection metal fitting preventing deterioration caused by rainwater infiltration, ultraviolet ray, solar beams etc. by fixing the waterproofing layer rising end to a wall face and shielding the end and the vicinity, a first seal formed between the outside of the metallic fitting and the wall face, and a second seal blocked by the metallic fitting and formed between the metallic fitting and the wall face. The protection metallic fitting is provided with a base plate pinching the waterproofing layer rising end between the end and the wall face, a separating plate protruding from the upper end of the base plate in the wall face direction, getting into contact with the wall face and partitioning the first seal and the second seal, and a support plate protruding from the upper end of the base plate outward forming the first seal between the support plate and the wall face.
