PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polylactic acid composition which is excellent in heat resistance, impact resistance, softness, and gas barrier properties and prevents bleed-out from the surface of a molded product. SOLUTION: This polylactic acid composition contains a lactic-acid-based block copolymer polyester resin (IIIa) and polylactic acid (IV). The block copolymer polyester resin (IIIa) has a wt. average mol.wt. of 3,000-250,000 and is prepared by copolymerizing a lactide (II) or polylactic acid (II') with a polyester resin (Ia) having a glass transition temperature of 20°C or lower and a wt. average mol.wt. of 3,000-250,000 and prepared by reacting a dicarboxylic acid with a diol in the presence of a layered silicate.
