PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant aromatic polycarbonate resin composition containing substantially no halogen flame retardant nor phosphorus flame retardant, which has good flame retardancy, and besides, is excellent in an appearance, heat stability, and humidity heat resistance, and to provide the composition further desirably having good transparency. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant aromatic polycarbonate resin composition comprises (A) per 100 pts.wt. of an aromatic polycarbonate resin (component A), (B) in a silicone compound having an Si-H group and an aromatic group in a molecule, (1) a content of the Si-H group (an Si-H amount) being 0.1-1.2 mol/100 g, (2) a proportion of an aromatic group content (an aromatic group amount) being 10-70 wt%, (3) a content of the silicone compound (component B) having an average degree of polymerization of 3-150 being 0.1-10 pts.wt., and (C) an organic silicon compound (component C) having a reactive group other than the Si-H group being 0.01-10 pts.wt. in the substantial absence of the Si-H group.
