PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a failure of a collet and a failure of a cap, and also to avoid an injury of the operator's own hand. SOLUTION: A taper collet puller comprises: a taper collet 1 in which the cap is forced to engage in an annular groove 11 formed on an outer circumference and by which a taper 12 is formed on an outer circumferential portion; a puller 3 used to separate the cap 2 engaged in the annular groove 11 by causing the taper collet 1 to make a diameter small, by engaging the taper 12 formed on the outer circumferential portion of the taper collet to a taper 31 formed on an inner circumferential portion; and a pushing-up pin 4 for pushing the taper collet 1 up upward in which the taper 12 on the outer circumferential portion is engaged in the taper 31 formed on the inner circumferential portion of the nipper tool 3.
