The invention relates to a method for operating a control device for the purpose of speed control of an electric motor. Said control device comprises a frequency converter circuit, a power factor correction circuit, and a microprocessor which influences said circuits. The aim of the invention is to improve such a control device. According to the inventive method, the power factor correction circuit is operated in accordance with a changing speed requirement and the resulting variable power requirement of the electric motor. |
