The present invention relates to the mining industry and minerals treatment, specifically to a dissolution composition using thiourea. This patent, in particular, refers to a dissolution for improving the silver extraction speed, from minerals or other silver-containing materials, improving the thiourea stability in the lixiviating dissolution. The invention consists of a lixiviation dissolution that has been previously or simultaneously, subjected to a controlled electro-oxidation for producing DSFA, which behaves as an antioxidant agent for gold and silver ore phases. In its preferred embodiment DSFA is found in a 10 to 30% ratio of the total thiourea content in the dissolution.
