INK SUPPLY DEVICE FOR INKJET RECORDING APPARATUS, AND INK SUPPLY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably output high-quality images by preventing conveyance of bubbles to a recording head with a simple arrangement. SOLUTION: An ink supply device for an inkjet recording apparatus is provided, which has a means for opening and closing a supply port of an ink tank, a means for opening and closing the interior of a route from the ink tank to a container which maintains a head pressure, a means for making vacuum the interior of the route from the ink tank to the container which maintains the head pressure, and a means for filling ink into the interior of the route from the ink tank to the container which maintains the head pressure. The interior of an ink supply path can be made vacuum subsequently after a remaining ink in the supply path is discharged.
