<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor realizing encoding/decoding processing of a plural series of moving images with a minimum memory and processing amount. <P>SOLUTION: In processing the plural series of moving images, all the image data are stored in a frame memory 10 of a ring buffer structure capable of storing all the image data for one frame in the respective series. In order not to overwrite in a possible area indicated by a motion vector on the stored image data, a buffer memory 12 for storing temporarily the image data to the next frame is used to store the image data in the next frame. When the buffer memory 12 becomes full, the remaining image data are stored from the beginning of the frame memory 10 and, when storage processing of the image data for one frame is completed, the image data stored in the buffer memory 12 are transferred to an empty area on the frame memory 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
