PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily improve operability and functionality at the time of connecting an information processor and an external device such as a personal computer and a digital still camera. SOLUTION: The information processor communicable with the connected external device is provided with a connection means for connecting the external device, a first control means connectable with the external device so as to control the communication of the connected external device and the information processor, a second control means connectable with the external device so as to control the communication of the connected external device and the information processor, and a switching means for switching the control means to be connected with the external device to either one of the first control means and the second control means so as to make the connected external device and the information processor communicate each other.
