PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella having a handle and a ferrule which are freely bendable, so as to reduce the following problems: a long umbrella is hard to be opened or carried when a user carries a load, etc., a handle part formed in an U shape is easy to slip and hard to stand, and also a ferrule part in a conventional umbrella is comparatively sharp and dangerous. SOLUTION: The umbrella with the freely bendable handle and ferrule is constituted of aluminum wire (1) and rubber or water-proof urethane foam (2) in the handle part, so as to be freely bent, and is also constituted by incorporating a spring (4) in the rubber or water-proof urethane foam (2) in the ferrule part, so as to be bent by an impact and returned to an original shape again.
